Party Dozen – “Special Unit”: Party Dozen are a Sydney noise-rock duo consisting of just saxophone and drums, yet they sound like a full band. They once got Nick Cave to guest on a track, and “Special Unit” is their first release after signing to the influential indie label City Slang.
They Are Gutting a Body of Water – “charter spec” (ft. Horse Jumper of Love): The band is often shortened to TAGABOW and has become one of the most influential names in modern American shoegaze. “charter spec” is a collaboration with Boston slowcore favorites Horse Jumper of Love and teases a forthcoming collaborative mixtape.
Hunx and His Punx – “Strange Town Where Men Aren’t Wanted”: Hunx is the garage-pop project of Seth Bogart, who also co-founded the cult queer punk band Gravy Train!!!!. Hunx and His Punx helped bring openly queer themes back into garage rock in the 2010s.
