Show Facts

  • Spike Hellis – “No Bite” — This is from Successor, released August 7, 2026. There’s also a neat bit of programming symmetry later in your show: Spike Hellis remixed Buzz Kull’s “Human Force,” which you’re playing at #9. Buzz Kull’s Deep Hate CD actually contains remixes by Spike Hellis, Cold Cave, Kontravoid and PIG. That gives you a perfect callback between tracks 1 and 9. Spike Hellis
  • Cosey Mueller – “Embodiment of Denial” — Cosey Mueller is based in Berlin, and this is the title track of her May 2026 album. She handled the writing, recording, mixing AND album artwork herself. The record sits in that Berlin coldwave/synth-punk/techno zone, and the title track has appropriately Halloween-ish imagery involving desire, demons and an “inner prison.” Cosey Mueller
  • CHALK TEETH – “Struck” — Los Angeles trio featuring Karolina Wallace, Adam Wallace and Jason Miller. “Struck” first appeared as a standalone release in January 2026 before appearing on their self-titled album in June. Their Bandcamp tags are almost a miniature description of your show: darkwave, noise rock, post-punk, shoegaze, synth-punk, motorik and psych. Chalk Teeth
  • Rampressure – “Glamhandles” — This one’s older than much of your playlist: it originally appeared in October 2022, then resurfaced on the wonderfully titled 32-track 2026 collection Jams from the Shed 2021–2025. And there are some spectacular titles on that collection, including “Spiders in My Eyes,” “My Bread Go Stale! How Shall I Do?” and “Big Pigs Spudnix.” Amazon Music
  • Buzz Kull – “Human Force” — Buzz Kull is actually the solo project of Sydney musician/producer Marc Dwyer, active under the name since 2012. He describes the project as mixing darkwave, EBM and synth-pop into something “dark, dissonant and danceable.” “Human Force” comes from 2026’s Deep Hate. And again, Spike Hellis remixed this exact song, giving your Halloween playlist an accidental—or perhaps sinister—circular connection. Buzz Kull
  • Comfort Cure – “Last Thing” — They’re from Detroit, which makes their take on body music particularly appropriate given the city’s enormous electronic-music history. “Last Thing” appeared on 2023’s Design International, released through Atlanta DIY electronic label DKA Records. The album also contains remixes of “Last Thing” by Ye Gods and Semantix. COMFORT CURE
  • TVAM – “Follow Me Home” — TVAM is Joseph Oxley, who isn’t merely the performer: Oxley is credited with the vocals, composition and production of the track. “Follow Me Home” came out February 27, 2026 on Invada Records as part of Ruins. At 130 BPM, it’s also a pretty useful bridge from dark rock into the more electronic section of your show. Shazam
  • Damien Hearse – “Marble Maiden” — First of all, Damien Hearse is a ridiculously appropriate artist name for a Halloween show. His catalog makes it even better: releases and tracks include The Void Years, “Basilisk,” “Trauma Harness,” “Bad Luck Charm” and — perhaps most Halloween-ready of all — an EP called “Cat Man Vampire.” “Marble Maiden” itself originally appeared in 2025, although it received a 2026 release on streaming services. • Belly Hatcher – “No Body” — Another almost suspiciously perfect Halloween artist/title combination. Belly Hatcher is a Montreal punk/electronic/EBM/synth outfit, and “No Body” arrived in May 2026. It comes from their forthcoming album Body Erase. The video was shot and edited by Sean McGuirk. Industrial-music site I Die: You Die compared its grimy old-school industrial sound to Portion Control and Cabaret Voltaire. KOOL ROCK RADIO
  • MAQUINA. – “out of fear” — This comes from their July 2026 album BODY TRANSMISSION. The Portuguese group operates in a collision of punk/industrial/electronic sounds, and this track is particularly brutal: one review singled out its thunderous drums, metallic percussion and hardcore vocals. The album also features Dame Area on opening track “dança.” Apple Music – Web Player
  • Evitceles – “Riding” — “Riding” comes from Ripe Spell, released June 12, 2026 through London’s experimental UNDER MY FEET. Evitceles is Etien Slavchev, who wrote and produced every track on the record. The album ranges across ambient, drone, industrial, noise, doom metal, post-metal and trip-hop — which explains why it makes such an ominous closer. UNDER MY FEET.
